Renaissance Salon opened it’s doors in Downtown Dover back on November 10, 1998. Ten years later founders Tod and Diane Carper have much to be thankful for. Having the salon has given them and their team the opportunity to help others. From the very beginning it has come natural to have events and promotions that tie in with area organizations. Diane normally ‘dreams’ up the events, but the team has been right there to give their time and talent to make it successful. With the anniversary it seemed like the perfect opportunity to plan an event to thank the clients and also help someone in the community. With the need for food for many families right now in the area the salon chose to go that direction. With many people already wanting to help this promotion will make it very convenient. The salon will be asking for a minimum $5 donation and in return will give a 20% savings on any purchases made on products. The promotion will go on November 3rd through November 17th at both the Downtown Dover Renaissance as well as the new
Renaissance in the Market place at Nobles Pond in Jackson.
Donations collected in Dover will be given to The Greater Dover-
New Philadelphia Food Pantry and the donations in Jackson will be given to the Red Cross. The salon is hopeful in reaching their goal of a $1000.Immediately following the anniversary celebration Renaissance will be featuring their annual Giving Trees to benefit the children of Big Brothers Big Sisters
